About Swansea ITeC

We are Swansea ITeC! We are a small tight-knit team who work together to deliver quality IT training and Services in Wales. Although we are based in Swansea, we deliver apprenticeships across South Wales including Cardiff, Bridgend, and Pembrokeshire - we have even delivered them in West and North Wales! We focus on ensuring our clients are happy and pride ourselves on tailoring courses to suit needs. We occasionally do crazy things like climb mountains in the middle of a storm together for charity too - it's true, check our Instagram! The majority of the team started at Swansea ITeC on Welsh Government funded programmes, including apprenticeships, and have worked here ever since. If we add all our staff's years at Swansea ITeC together it adds up to over 130 years - 96 of which are made up of the directors alone!

Our organisation's roots go back to 1984 as Swansea Information Technology Centre, but Swansea ITeC became a limited company in 1996. 2009 saw us become a founding partner of the Skills Academy Wales (SAW) Academi Sgiliau Cymru (ASC), a consortium of nine training providers across South Wales consisting of:

• NPTC Group (formerly Neath Port Talbot College)
• Pathways Training at NPTC Group,
• Job Force Wales,
• Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council,
• LRC Training in South Wales,
• Coleg y Cymoedd,
• ACO Training Ltd,
• Learn Kit Ltd,
• And us of course!

We have excellent working relationships with many companies around South Wales and pride ourselves on this. We work with not just IT companies but also companies from a much wider range of sectors. We are always keen to build new working relationships as well as maintaining our current ones. 

Swansea ITeC aim to provide the best quality IT training and services in Wales. Yes, not only do we provide IT training but we also provide IT services! These include a wide variety of things such as: network cabling, AV installation including interactive whiteboards (we can also provide training on these), and networking equipment. In addition to this we also provide room rental and office space.

Our strong relationships with clients, our past learners that pop in just to say hi, and our dedicated, hard-working staff are testimony to our people focused approach.
